About Us

Built on the
bench, not the deck.

Press & Powder Co. is a California-registered manufacturer of single-station tablet presses, universal tooling, and direct-compression powders — started by people who were tired of choosing between machines that were affordable and machines that actually held tolerance.

Our Story

Why we
started.

From a bench trial to a product line

Press & Powder started in 2019 with a single problem: small formulation teams could either buy a cheap manual press that drifted out of tolerance after a few hundred cycles, or a production-grade rotary press priced for a factory floor they didn't have yet. We built the TDP line — and ReadyBlend to go with it — to fill the gap between the two, with the same universal tooling standard from a first bench trial through a real production run.

What we build today

Three single-station tablet presses, two stainless powder mixers, a stock line of S7 tool-steel dies, and ReadyBlend — a direct-compression powder formulated to work across most active ingredients without a custom excipient system. Every machine ships with the same tooling standard, so a formulation validated on a bench press moves to a production model without a redesign.
