TDP-1.5 Tablet Press

The entry point into the motorized line — a compact single-punch press that runs on mains power or, when you only need a handful of tablets, by hand crank. Sized for R&D batches as small as 200g and for short production runs once a formulation is dialed in.

Why This Model

Built for
its job.

01

Electric or Manual

Switch between mains power for volume and a hand crank for a handful of test tablets — one machine covers both ends of formulation work.

02

200g Minimum Batch

Low enough to run a real trial on an expensive or limited active ingredient without wasting most of it finding out whether the mix works.

03

Shape & Stamp Flexibility

Swap the mould to change tablet shape, and stamp a logo or identifying mark on the face — useful for keeping small trial batches distinguishable.

Questions

Frequently
asked.

What's the minimum batch size I can run?

As little as 200g of raw material, which is enough to press a small test batch without burning through an expensive or limited active ingredient.

Can I run it without electricity?

Yes — it also operates by hand crank, which is useful for pressing just a few tablets or for sites without reliable power.

How does it compare to the TDP-5?

The TDP-1.5 tops out at 15 kN and 8mm tablets; the TDP-5 goes up to 50 kN and 20mm. If your formulation or tablet size needs more force or a bigger tablet, start with the TDP-5 instead.

Can I change the tablet shape?

Yes, by swapping the mould. The press also supports stamping a logo, lettering, or numbering onto the tablet face.

Reviews

What buyers
say.

4.7 out of 5, based on 3 reviews.

★★★★★
Daniel W. February 2026

Runs the small production jobs we used to outsource. The hand-crank backup has saved us twice during a power blip.

★★★★☆
Alicia F. January 2026

Good step up from a manual press. Setup took a bit of trial and error the first week.

★★★★★
Tom R. December 2025

Reliable at our batch sizes, and the tooling swap between our two presses is genuinely five minutes.
